East Valley Bank's Staci Charles Joins Chandler YMCA Board

MESA and CHANDLER, Ariz.– Mar. 14, 2007 -- Staci Charles, executive vice president, creative banking solutions at East Valley Bank, has been elected to the Chandler Gilbert Family YMCA Board of Managers.

"Staci's knowledge of our community and expertise in marketing will be an asset to our YMCA," said Charmaine Gudgeon, Executive Director for the Chandler Gilbert Family YMCA.

Charles has also been named co-captain of the 2007 Chandler YMCA Strong Kids Team Campaign. Each year, the Strong Kids Campaign raises money for YMCA scholarships and grants for those who cannot afford program fees for youth activities at the Chandler Gilbert Family YMCA.

Charles has worked in the banking industry for more than 20 years and joined East Valley Bank at the start of 2006. Previously, she was director of marketing for Capitol Bancorp. She has a master's and bachelor's degree in marketing from Arizona State University. In the community, she has been involved with Camp CEO and worked with Junior Achievement of Arizona on the Capitol Bancorp 5K for JA in Arizona. In 2006, she worked with the Mesa YMCA Strong Kids Campaign and the Challenged Athletes Foundation.
